I was a Senior Specialist, Analyst programmer at Vodacom. I was responsible for the architecture and design of customer care telephony and eServices applications. My work formed part of the overall customer care application suite that involved a team of business analysts and systems analysts. I engineered Genesys and Cisco integration applications and routing calls to these platforms. I performed an architectural, design and development role for a web chat solution that services hundreds of eService agents. Solutions included SMS to email, telephony applications and IVR platform integration. Vodacom is an African mobile communications company providing voice, messaging, data and converged services to more than 43 million customers. Vodacom operates in South Africa and includes networks in Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mozambique and Lesotho and also provides carrier and business services to customers in over 70 countries.
